I am a single mom who has recently moved her family and herself out to the country. I love it so far, but my kids are still on the fence about the move. Apparently there is something morally wrong with waking up at 5 am to do animals on our farm before catching the bus to school. ;p My goal has been to teach them the value of hard work as well as where and what their food looks like before it hits the store. I love it so far, but then again I'm at work for most of the day. :)

My family is my life, I love to read, specifically sci-fi and fantasy but I'm not usually too fussy so long as it has been written well, I love to cook and can play two instruments and sing. After having gone to school for my edu-ma-cation for too many years, my kids have informed me that I am boring and my job is boring (I can't argue them on that point). My hope is that one day my little farm will be able to be my full-time job instead of my when-I'm-not-at-my-paying-nor -being-The Mom-job.
